CAMPAIGN AGAINST PERFORMANCE RELATED PAY/PAYMENT BY RESULTS
The grassroots organisation STOPP (School Teachers opposed to Performance Pay) have called a
National March and Rally on SATURDAY FEBRUARY 12th 2000.

MARCH TO CONWAY HALL, RED LION SQUARE - RALLY 1.30pm
This Demonstration of Teacher opposition to PRP is being supported by SUFFOLK NUT.

ADVANCED NOTICE OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE IPSWICH ASSOCIATION
MARCH 16th 2000
The recent general meeting of the Association agreed that the date for the AGM of the Association should be held on March 16th 2000. It will take place at The Lion's Head, Cauldwell Hall Rd, Ipswich 7.00 for a 7.30pm start. The incoming President will be Gill Thornton.
A REMINDER OF THE DATE FOR THE NUT REPRESENTATIVES' TRAINING DAY
IT WILL BE ON FRIDAY APRIL 7th 2000.
School Representatives are reminded that the Annual School Representatives' training day will be held at the South Suffolk PDC on Friday April 7th 2000. As places are limited they will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. It may be that school representatives from other associations in Suffolk may wish to take up any unfilled places. Ipswich NUT representatives have until February 17th to guarantee a place. Contact the administrative secretary to book your place. The Regional Officer, John Dixon and the Suffolk Division Secretary, Martin Goold will both be contributing to that Course. If there are any particular areas that you would like the organisers to include in the day's programme please let the admin sec know in good time! A provisional programme for the day will be sent closer the date.
